Everton skipper Neville: Time players stood up

Everton skipper Phil Neville says it's time the players stood up.

David Moyes took full responsibility for the Bolton debacle but Neville, the Everton captain, insisted the players share culpability and owe it to the club's supporters to deliver a vast improvement at the home of the champions.

"It is a collective thing," said Neville. "It wasn't good enough and we don't need anyone to tell us that it wasn't good enough. We have got an FA Cup tie at the weekend and we have got to pick ourselves up.

"We are going to take a lot of supporters down to London and we need to give them something to shout about because one win and then a couple of losses isn't good enough."
