Everton skipper Neville: It's Everton, not Man Utd, for me now

Everton captain Phil Neville admits he still has emotional ties to FA Cup semifinal opponents Manchester United.

Tomorrow's clash could see ex- United ace Neville lead out the Toffees against brother Gary.

And Phil revealed: "I still have a special relationship with United and it's still a special ground to go to - but the only reason I do is to watch my brother. I am Everton now.

"Being brutally honest, it's taken me 3½ seasons for the Everton fans to accept me. They thought my heart was still with United.

"But the minute I left my heart switched to Everton. The club totally sucked me in and I've put so much effort into trying to win them over.

"Now the family is split right down the middle. My sister's in my corner and my mum is firmly in the middle, while my dad may sway slightly towards the red half.

"But all they want is for us to have fun and enjoy ourselves.

"I know it may be hard to believe in Gary's case but I can assure you he enjoys these occasions, even though he doesn't show it at times."
