Everton skipper Phil Neville fears their top four hopes will be derailed by their FA Cup campaign.
Skipper Neville, 32, said: "Maybe there were a few eyes on Sunday's quarter-final against Middlesbrough.
"But the boss has stressed, and everyone agrees with him, that we want to challenge for that fourth place.
"We had a chance to close the gap on Aston Villa but didn't do that as much as we wanted.
"The positive is that we have kept another clean sheet."
