Phil Neville has told Everton fans the players are determined to produce a special night against Europa League opponents Benfica tomorrow.

The five-nil defeat in Lisbon two weeks ago was disappointing but Neville says the players shouldn't fear their Portuguese opponents.

"It is good that the game has come round quickly after the defeat over in Portugal," he told evertonfc.com.

"The score-line was flattering to Benfica and we all believed that if we'd have travelled there with a few more experienced players then we'd of given them a game and beaten them. We do fancy our chances at Goodison.

"They have got World-class players and I know it will be one of those special nights at Goodison."
