Everton have signed 15 year-old Northampton Town midfielder Fraser Hornby.
The Daily Express says Hornby has been on trial at a host of Premier League and Championship clubs over the summer so the deal is quite the coup for Roberto Martinez's club.
The Toffees have forked out a downpayment of £65,500 for the teenager, who is the younger brother of Northampton first team player Lewis, but the fee could rise to £1.3m under the terms of the Elite Player Performance Plan.
Everton will give the League Two side £150,000 for every 10 Premier League games Hornby appears in.
After his 60th game, the Goodison Park club will pay £100,000 for every 10 appearances until his 100th top flight game.
