Everton boss Dave Moyes is moving for Newcastle United fullback Stephen Carr.

The former Republic of Ireland defender is a free agent this summer when his Toon contract expires. That has alerted Moyes who wants to bring in some experience to bolster his squad for another hoped-for assault on Europe.
