Everton have announced on their official website that they will host Spanish side Valencia in a pre-season game at Goodison Park.
The three-time UEFA Cup champions and winners of La Liga on six occasions, Valencia have qualified for the Champions League with a fourth-place finish last term.
The Toffees will meet Marcelino's men on Saturday August 4th, one week before the start of the Premier League.
Tickets for the match will go on sale on July 10.
