Everton are sending an U17 squad to Brazil.
Everton's first year scholars have been invited to take part in the prestigious Futures tournament, hosted by the South American nation as a part of the build-up to the 2014 World Cup.
Twelve teams will take part in the tournament, which will be held in the city of Belo Horizonte - a short trip north from the Brazilian capital Rio de Janeiro - in December.
The Blues are one of three teams from Europe taking part in the competition, alongside Spanish giants Barcelona and French heavyweights Paris St Germain.
This will be the first time the Everton Academy have visited South America in their history.
