Everton are eyeing Manchester United striker Kiko Macheda.
The Mail on Sunday says Everton boss David Moyes is lining up a shock move for United starlet Macheda.
Moyes will sound out Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson about taking the 19-year-old on loan in a bid to bolster his mis-firing strikeforce.
Macheda knows he faces an uphill battle to make his mark on the United first team this season with Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Javier Hernandez all ahead of him in the pecking order.
So, United may let the Italian out for a temporary period to build up his first-team experience.
