Everton see Man City's Lescott as Distin replacement

Everton are set to intensify their pursuit of Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott.

Lescott has been put up for sale at City for £8 million.

Everton are expected to move for Lescott should they lose Sylvain Distin to QPR in January.
