Everton are interested in Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel.

Sevilla have seen talks for Muriel stall over Samp's asking price, so allowing Everton to step in.

Sportitalia says Everton have booked a meeting with Sampdoria emissaries for Monday.

The 26-year-old has also been linked with Lazio and Inter this summer.

He is fresh from a prolific campaign, contributing 13 goals and nine assists in 33 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

Samp are referring Everton and Sevilla to Muriel's €28m buyout clause.
