Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has rejected an offer from Blackburn Rovers.
The Nigeria international is seemingly out of favour at Goodison Park but has decided not to make the move to Ewood Park with Rovers boss Steve Kean believed to be keen on acquiring his services.
Yakubu spent the second part of last season on loan at Leicester City but has returned to be on the fringes under David Moyes and it looks likely that he will remain with the Toffees past this transfer window.
