Everton's Saha backs Man Utd to take title

Everton's star striker Louis Saha believes his former club Manchester United will take the title this season.

After scoring both goals in the Toffees 2-1 win over league leaders Chelsea on Wednesday night, the Frenchman says that the Blues cannot win the league and ahs backed some of his former teammates to lead the way for United.

"If you ask me who's going to win the title, I'd love to say Everton, but obviously that's not going to happen, and if not, then I would like to see United do it again," Saha said.

"I think it will be tight between the top two. Chelsea are very strong, but I think United are better - and personally I would be delighted if they won it. I'd definitely prefer that.

"I still keep in touch with a lot of them from United, especially Patrice Evra. Wayne Rooney and Owen Hargreaves are on the phone a lot, and they've got a really good bunch of guys. But this morning I will probably have more messages and calls than ever.

"I know I will be getting a lot of calls now, and it is a big boost for my old club that Chelsea has lost. But the main thing has to be Everton, and taking us as high up the table as possible."
