Everton's Steven Pienaar is a wanted man.

Russian club Rubin Kazan have reiterated their desire to secure the services of the South African midfielder but have admitted it may be a tough exercise.

"On the interest of our club in Pienaar, I said this back in November," Rubin Kazan coach Kurban Berdiyev told Sport.

"He is a good footballer, but to negotiate, agree and to make an offer to get the player, are very different things."
