Steven Pienaar admits he is not back to his best yet as he continues to find his rhythm for Everton this season.
The South African midfielder is beginning to again form a dangerous left-sided partnership with Leighton Baines but says there is still a little way to go as he returns to full fitness after missing the beginning of the campaign with injury.
"The way we combine sometimes, it's about split-second decision making, it's the timing," he told the Liverpool Echo after Sunday's 0-0 draw with Tottenham.
"It's coming back, but I'm still getting into the rhythm of it.
"It's only my third game back from eight weeks off so it's taking a while.
"I was happy to get the 96 minutes against Spurs and my fitness is getting much better. It will take a while but I'm getting there."
