Everton striker Nikica Jelavic has won the Barclays Premier League Player of the Month award for April.
The Croatian international scored six goals during the fourth month of 2012 to help the Toffees to a record of two wins and two draws in four outings.
Jelavic, who signed with Everton from Rangers in January, scored doubles in all three matches he played against Norwich City (2-2 draw), Manchester United (4-4) and Fulham (4-0 win) while he was rested for the 4-0 win over Sunderland.
Jelavic now has eight goals in 11 league appearances for the Toffees and was thrilled to receive his first individual award for the club.
"Awards are always nice and this one shows how well the team is doing just now. We are playing some great football and we are creating chances, which for a centre-forward is obviously very important.
"We are finishing the season really well and we hope to end with two more wins from our last two games.""I'm really pleased to have won the award. Everyone at Everton has been very good to me since I arrived at the club and I am glad that I have been able to reward the fans for their fantastic support," he said.
