Everton have been dealt a heavy blow with news that key defender Phil Jagielka will be out for up to six weeks.
The England centre-back suffered medial ligament damage in his knee during Wednesday night's 2-1 home loss to Bolton and will now be out for the rest of January and most likely all of February.
Jagielka joins Leon Osman on the Toffees injury list with the midfielder set to have surgery to remove floating bone in his knee whilst Tim Cahill (groin), Ross Barkley (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) are also on the sidelines ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup third round meeting with Conference club Tamworth.
