Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is supremely confident that David Moyes will achieve positive results at Manchester United.
The Scotsman is set to step into the massive managerial boots left by Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford this summer and although there have been critics regarding the move, USA number one Howard is fully backing his Toffees boss to succeed at his old club.
Howard says Moyes' great expectations of his players and willingness to work hard will help him flourish in Manchester.
"By coming to work every day and not taking any short cuts. He does not allow players to rest or slacken off," said Howard.
"Look at a player like me, selected for damn near every game, so I think he has the utmost trust in me. But I can tell you with my hand on my heart that in training, when the goalkeepers get called over to work with the rest of the first team, I feel a bit of nerves.
"You might think it's only the training ground, but if I throw one in, it's not as if he looks the other way, he gives me a hammering from the touchline.
"After seven years you'd think a guy like me, who he trusts would get a break, but no, he is still on at you.
"That's his ethos, that's just how he is. He keeps you on your toes and believing you have to give more."
