Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has sent a warning to Liverpool ahead of next month's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
The Toffees beat Sunderland 2-0 in the quarter-finals replay last night to book their place in the final four and Gibson suggests that David Moyes' charges will be raring to go after their 3-0 Premier League loss to the Reds recently.
"It'll be a different prospect for them, probably our strongest side. We've worked all week on our game plan and we came here and pulled it off, playing really well.
"The work we put in this week meant we knew exactly what everyone had to do, and it paid off from the back to the front.
"We made chances too, which was the main thing and Niki (Jelavic) took his goals well.
"Obviously the first game (1-1 draw with Sunderland) we started off a bit slowly and didn't play the way we could have. I still think we were the better team but we didn't quite show it.
"We knew we had to press them to get anywhere, and right from the back we hassled them well.""I was at the derby and it was disappointing. Now we've got to forget about that," Gibson told the Liverpool Echo.
