Everton's Fellaini confident knee problem not serious

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is supremely confident that his current knee problem is not a serious issue.

The Belgian ace sustained an injury in last weekend's 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic but after detecting the problem whilst in camp with his national team, feels he can be swiftly back in action before missing too many matches.

"I am currently suffering from a knee injury: fortunately it is not too serious but I will have to miss the two games with Belgium," he told the Toffees' official website.

"I am hoping to be back playing for Everton as soon as possible. I am extremely disappointed and I now have to rest in order to get back to full fitness so I can help the team with some important games coming up."
