Everton star Tim Cahill will be hoping he can break his goalscoring drought when his side takes on Aston Villa on Saturday. The 31-year old Australian international has not hit the back of the net at club level in his last seven matches and has just one in 10.
If you include his recent matches for the Socceroos, he has scored a total of three goals in his last 16 outings which for him is certainly a drought.
But the odds are with Cahill for Saturday's match against 14th-placed Villa at Goodison Park. He has scored four goals and provided two assists in his last six matches against the claret and blue - the most recent being a double in the 2-2 draw at Villa Park in April 2010.
The Toffees have regained a little bit of goalscoring form in the past two months and with Cahill almost certain to play after withdrawing from the Australia squad for the midweek friendly win over Germany, things may be in their favour as they chase maximum points when Villa come to town.
