Everton will be without Tim Cahill for at least three matches after he was ruled out for a fortnight with a calf injury.
The Australia international sustained the injury in the 2-1 midweek Europa League win over Sporting Lisbon and will now miss this weekend's vital clash against Manchester United, next week's return leg against Lisbon in Portugal and next weekend's league fixture with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Scans revealed that the injury Cahill suffered was slightly worse than a strain which would have just kept him out of Saturday's clash with the Red Devils at Goodison Park.
