Everton's Cahill nets 50th Premier League goal

Tim Cahill scored his 50th Premier League goal for Everton in the 2-2 draw with Blackpool overnight. The 30-year old Australian international leveled for the Toffees with a customary header in the 13th minute to cancel out Neil Eardley's opener.

Blackpool again went ahead when David Vaughan netted in the 48th minute but Everton managed to salvage a draw when Seamus Coleman struck two minutes later.

Cahill joined the Merseyside club from Millwall in 2004 and since then has made 174 league appearances and now has 50 goals to his name.

So far this season, Cahill has scored five times in ten matches and is well on track to beat his personal best in a season at the club. His previous best is 11 league goals in the 2004/-5 season.
