Everton's Cahill: I can't imagine the pressure England are under

Everton's Tim Cahill says he cannot imagine the type of pressure the England national team is currently under.

The Socceroos star believes it must be tough for some of the world's most expensive players to be experiencing a lean trot of form but admits he is not all that surprised the Three Lions haven't had it all easy in Group C.

"I saw (England assistant) Stuart Pearce (at the Ghana game) and said hello. He was sitting behind me in the stands. I think England are a great example to show how difficult it is. They're one of the most expensive teams in the world and they're struggling to win a game. I can't imagine the amount of pressure they're under," Cahill told mirrorfootball.

"England may well not go through but I'm not surprised. America's a good team, Slovenia's a good team. I think people need to be a bit more educated on how good the teams are who we are playing against.

"I do hope England go through though. It'd be good to meet them but first we've got to beat Serbia."
