Everton's Cahill hints at UAE move

Everton star Tim Cahill has hinted that he may spend some time at the end of his career playing in the United Arab Emirates.

The Toffees forward is in the Middle East with the Australian national team, preparing for the upcoming Asian Cup, and indicated to Sport 360 that he could perhaps join a club in the UAE at the end of his playing days.

"It's fantastic preparing in Dubai and the UAE is such a fantastic country with great people and a great lifestyle as well. It's something that's really nice," Cahill said.

"The Middle East is growing and it's somewhere that I enjoy coming to a lot and in the future it's where I could possibly be playing football."

But Cahill admitted that this time was for the job at hand and not for looking too much into the future.

"But right now we're preparing for the Asian Cup and getting ready to go to Qatar, which is just great," he added.

"We're all really excited because we're going to work as hard as we can to try and do our best in this competition."
