Everton ace Tim Cahill is a doubt for this Saturday's meeting with Manchester United according to manager David Moyes.

The Australian international played a full 120 minutes in the 2-1 Carling Cup fourth-round extra-time loss to Chelsea at Goodison Park on Wednesday night but played with a niggle and Moyes says, he and captain Phil Neville, are in danger of missing the visit of the reigning English champions.

"Tim was carrying an injury through the game and Phil has a hamstring injury so we've got one or two doubts," Moyes told the club's official website.

"But that's what it's like and that's why the good teams can play midweek and Saturday and keep winning because they have a good squad of players and hopefully we were able to show that as well."
