Everton striker James Vaughan has been ruled out two months after suffering a knee injury on-loan at Derby County.

The injury-jinxed target man has had to come back from his loan spell at Derby County as the Goodison club try to speed up the pace of his return.

Vaughan has damaged a cartilage and the lengthy spell on the sidelines also comes as a blow to both David Moyes and the luckless Rams.
