Everton have joined the battle for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Indeed, the Daily Express says Everton are leading Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle in the race for Lacazette.
The 23-year-old is still discussing a contract extension with Lyon, but his demands - thought to be around £40,000-a-week - are proving a problem.
And the player's agent, David Venditelli, has today confirmed that there are a number of Premier League clubs monitoring the situation.
He told Le Parisien: "Some English clubs are rushing to the scene.
"If Alexandre leaves, it will be for a team that plays in the Champions League, or at least a team who is very close to being there."
