Everton reserves coach Alan Stubbs is delighted seeing so many of his youngsters involved in first team preseason.
With two fixtures lined up in Scotland this weekend, Stubbs feels confident that the Austrian camp will have served his youngsters well.
"It was really good," he explained to evertontv. "At this time of the season, it is purely about getting fitness work in and they did a lot of that.
"They were involved with the first-team group and worked together, so from that point of view, it will have been good experience for them.
"We're back now and we've got another few days before we play our first game in Scotland. We've still got a little bit of work to do before we get to that stage."
