Everton reserves coach Alan Stubbs is doing his badges in Scotland.
Stubbs is 17 months younger than Rangers skipper Davie Weir, but he is now reserve team boss at Everton and was in Largs yesterday as he takes another step towards his Pro Licence.
Stubbs could have taken the English course but prefers working with the SFA.
He told the Scottish Sun: "I did my B-licence in England but I didn't like it so I did my A-licence in Scotland and really enjoyed it.
"Somewhere down the line I'd like to go into management, but it is all about timing.
"I need to make sure my first club is the right one - I don't want it to be the last one.
"I played at a high level, but I didn't realise how naive I was about coaching and management - there are things that I have done here that I wouldn't have thought about as a player."
