Everton turned down the chance to sign Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on transfer deadline day, it has been revealed.
The People says when Arsenal signed Mikel Arteta they offered £5m plus Bendtner to Everton. Toffees boss David Moyes wanted £10m in straight cash.
Bendtner eventually joined Sunderland on-loan.
