With Everton struggling for a striker, former youngster Lukas Jutkiewicz is in line for a big money move to Southampton.

The Mirror says Southampton are preparing a £3million raid for Coventry City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz in January.

The forward, 22, was with the Saints' academy, but was released at 13.

City signed him from Everton for £300,000, and blocked a summer Middlesbrough bid.
