Everton are ready to make a genuine bid for Marko Arnautovic.

According to The Sun, Stoke City have a £13million price tag on the Austrian winger but that is unlikely to discourage the cashed-up Toffees.

New majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is willing to spend this summer and the aforementioned release clause for the 27-year-old will not be a problem.

Arnautovic, currently with the Austria squad at Euro2016, has turned down improved terms from the Potters and has hinted that he perhaps could be out the Britannia Stadium exit door sometime soon.

"I cannot say if I will still be at Stoke after the summer but my goal is to stay in England," he said.

"That is where I feel comfortable and where I have performed well."
