Bolton Wanderers are bracing themselves for a winter raid on their star striker Zach Clough.
Reports suggest that the 21-year-old forward is a target for Everton who have readied a January bid.
Ronald Koeman is looking for a new striker and has been impressed by Clough who has scored seven goals in League One for the second-placed Trotters so far this season.
However, the Toffees are likely to have competition for Clough as Middlesbrough are also significantly interested.
Championship clubs Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City and Bristol City are also keen on the Bolton academy product who has 19 goals in 59 outings for the club since debuting in January 2015.
