Everton ready to pounce for CSKA Moscow's want-away Vagner Love

Everton boss Dave Moyes is ready to snap up CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love.

Vagner Love, who has scored 88 in 163 games for CSKA, has discussed a move to England with his compatriot and former team-mate Jo, who is now at Manchester City.<> "I speak to Jo a lot and he says only good things," Vagner Love told Brazilian website Globoesporte. He has also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and he added: "It's good to know that important teams are interested in me.

"Everton, for example, aren't the most famous club, but they are a good side and play in one of the biggest championships in the world.

"Off the pitch I would not have any problems. The only way that I need to adapt would be on the pitch."

Vagner Love could be available for about £12million, though Everton may be interested in a short-term loan deal during the Russian league's winter off-season.
