Everton are chasing Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.

The Daily Mail says David Moyes tried to procure the centre forward in the summer but could not match the La Liga side's valuation of their Spain star.

"It is a league that I like and sooner or later I will play in it," he said.

"President Jose Maria del Nido received some offers in January, but decided not to consider them. We'll see what is going to happen in the future."
