Everton are pushing to close a deal for MK Dons midfielder Brendan Galloway.
The Mirror says the England U19 international made 13 appearances last season for the League One club.
But the midfielder is now in a contract dispute with MK Dons and claims to be entitled to leave for just compensation.
Everton are offering £400,000 plus add-ons and a compromise seems likely rather than a tribunal.
