Everton manager David Moyes is ready to close a deal for Barnsley fullback John Stones.

Moyes' spies have been tracking Stones all season and watched him star for England's Under-19 team last week, says the Mirror.

The right-back is also on ­Chelsea's radar, but would not be part of the European champions' first-team in the near future.
