Everton prospect Michael Donohue has joined AFC Barrow on a month's loan.

AFC owner Paul Casson hopes the youngster will prove as big a hit at Holker Street as did former Sheffield United loan man Otis Khan.

“They've described him as a lively winger and we hope he is in the Otis Khan mould," said Casson to nwemail.co.uk.

“The game we liked the best in recent memory was the Woking game at home (when Barrow won 2-1 in November).

“The components we lost after that game were Otis and Liam Hearn and we have been trying to get replacements for them.

“We've got Michael in now to hopefully help do that."
