Everton are preparing a bid for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The Sun says Everton are in pole position to land the dropped Manchester City keeper after boss Pep Guardiola told him to find a new club.

Liverpool are not in the running for the 29-year-old and a move to Sevilla is unlikely, despite interest from the Spaniards.

That leaves Toffees chief Koeman with a clear run at bringing Hart to Goodison on a season-long loan.

City have agreed a deal in principle for Claudio Bravo to arrive from Barcelona after Guardiola made it clear Hart was not in his plans.
