Everton ponder move for Newcastle striker Owen

Everton are being linked with Newcastle United striker Michael Owen.

The Evening Chronicle says the team Owen supported as a boy – Everton – may well look at the situation regarding the United striker now that they have Yakubu out for the rest of the season with an Achilles tendon injury.
