Everton are weighing up a bid for Crewe Alexandra kid Nick Powell.

The Guardian says David Moyes is considering a move for Crewe's coveted midfielder Powell this summer having joined a host of Premier League admirers to scout the 18-year-old at Gresty Road on Saturday.

Powell is rated at £3m and Moyes hopes the teenager's desire to sign for a Premier League club that can offer an immediate first-team opportunity will enhance Everton's prospects of landing the latest talent to emerge from Crewe's youth system.
