Everton midfielder Royston Drenthe is ready for his first Merseyside derby tomorrow against Liverpool.

Drenthe joined Everton on transfer deadline day and has so far appeared four times for the Toffees. But he knows this weekend's game will be unlike any of those he's played in Blue.

"You don't have to tell me it is a really important game," the on-loan wideman told evertontv.

"If I am on the pitch I will give more than 100 percent to help get the Blues the three points.

"I know how important it is for the Evertonians who support us in every game."
