Everton are not dropping their pursuit of Watford boss Marco Silva.
The Liverpool Echo says Everton are ready to make a second approach for Silva - who is keen to speak with the Blues.
The Hornets firmly rejected Everton's approach to speak with Silva on Monday but are set to test the Hornets' resolve once more after identifying the 40-year-old as their main target to replace the sacked Ronald Koeman.
It is understood that Silva is unlikely to agitate for a move away from Vicarage Road after only joining them in the summer but the Everton job is believed to interest him.
Watford would be able to demand a significant compensation package for Silva who has guided them to ninth in the Premier League table after 11 games.
