Everton plan audacious double move for Walcott & Evans

Everton are planning a double swoop of their Premier League rivals.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, new Toffees boss Sam Allardyce is looking to bolster his squad in January by adding Arsenal winger Theo Walcott and West Bromwich Albion captain Jonny Evans.

Walcott has been on the outer at the Emirates this season, having featured predominantly in the European and domestic cup competitions.

Despite Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger stating his intent to keep the 28-year-old, Walcott's huge wages may motivate the club to cut ties.

Meanwhile, Baggies manager Alan Pardew has said it is a possibility Evans could leave next month.

The Northern Ireland defender was the subject of a failed move from Manchester City last summer.
