Everton boss Dave Moyes is planning a January bid for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

The Sun says Moyes tried to sign the England Under-21 midfielder in the summer as a replacement for Lee Carsley.

But Huddlestone, 21, elected to stay and signed a new five-year £40,000-a-week deal.

He fears he is not a big part of Juande Ramos' plans having started just one game this season.

And Moyes will tempt Spurs' resolve with a £6million bid.
