Everton pair Cleverley and Lennon backed for England squad by Toffees teammate

Seamus Coleman believes his Everton teammates Tom Cleverley and Aaron Lennon deserve to be included in England's squad for Euro2016.

Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson watch from the stands as Cleverley and Lennon starred in the Toffees' 3-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday, and Coleman believes it was just a small sample of what the pair are capable of.

"If you come to Everton week in and week out, you see that Tom is very consistent and Azza (Lennon) has is just starting to get into the team," Coleman, who will be part of the Republic of Ireland's squad for the tournament, said.

"There are not many right wingers like him with the shift he puts in going back and what he does going forward.

"I'd love nothing more than seeing the two lads there and hopefully he (Hodgson) will keep coming and watching them because I think Azza has been immense.

"He's had to be patient because Gerard Deulofeu has been immense as well.

"Thankfully for the manager here, he's got two very good wingers and we're delighted to have them."
