Everton lead the race to sign Lillestrom striker Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson.

The Liverpool Echo says the Blues have opened talks with Lillestrom over a deal worth up to £3m for the pacy forward, who has scored 11 goals in 11 games for the Norwegian side this season.

Sigurdarson, 21, was watched by Everton scouts on Sunday, when he scored the only goal in the last minute of Lillestrom's home clash with Sogndal, and increasing interest from Wolves, Reading and Anderlecht has prompted the Toffees to move swiftly.
