Everton offer £20m for Man City forward Iheanacho

Everton are planning to make a whopping £20million move for Manchester City attacker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to reports from The Sun.

Kelechi Iheanacho is undoubtedly a very talented young player who has managed to impress whenever he has featured for the Manchester City first team, but the Nigerian international has struggled to earn regular minutes on the pitch for the Citizens since the arrival of Gabriel Jesus to the Etihad Stadium in January.

As a result, it is speculated that Iheanacho could potentially end up leaving City at the end of the current Premier League campaign and according to reports from England, Everton are said to be planning to sign the 20-year-old by placing a £20million offer to City.

An Etihad source told The Sun: "Everton have shown an interest in Kelechi, who has been frustrated with a lack of game-time this season. He is highly-rated here, but has not started a match since January 2nd where as I'm sure he would get lots of first-team action elsewhere.

"Pep is looking to bolster his ranks and spend a fair chunk of cash this coming transfer window and the club could be persuaded to sell should the right offer come in."
