Everton No2 Round reveals top four belief

Everton assistant boss Steve Round says a top four finish and Champions League qualification is on.

"It's not always, in the Premier League, the best team that wins," Round told the media ahead of Monday's visit of Luiz Felipe Scolari's side. "That's the beauty of the Premier League, it's usually the best team on the day.

"On Monday we have to have aspirations to push towards that European and Champions League spot, and we have to try to be the best team on the day. It's as simple as that, and if we are, we'll have a very good chance of winning.

"That [Champions League qualification] has got to be your ambition, your dream and you should never say never. Ourselves, Aston Villa and even Hull will be looking to push into those positions. That's got to be your target, if you didn't want to do that, why are you in it? You've got to try to get as high as you can every season.

"It's an interesting season where everyone seems to be able to beat anyone and they will be a few more twists and turns come the end, I'm sure."
